English: Seal of Sakaeo Province of Thailand in accordance to the announcement for official seals of Thai province, print in the Royal Thai Government Gazette in 2004.
ไทย: เครื่องหมายราชการของจังหวัดสระแก้ว (ตราประจำจังหวัดสระแก้ว) ตามประกาศสำนักนายกรัฐมนตรี เรื่อง กำหนดภาพเครื่องหมายราชการ ตามพระราชบัญญัติเครื่องหมายราชการ พุทธศักราช 2482 (ฉบับที่ 214) [ว่าด้วยการกำหนดเครื่องหมายราชการประจำจังหวัด 75 จังหวัด] ซึ่งได้ประกาศใช้แทนตราประจำจังหวัดแบบเดิมอย่างเป็นทางการนับแต่ พ.ศ. 2547 เป็นต้นมา (ยึดถือตามวันที่ประกาศในราชกิจจานุเบกษา)

คำอธิบายตราประจำจังหวัด ของสำนักราชบัณฑิต เป็นบรรยาย ดังนี้

พระพุทธรูปสรงน้ำฝน ประทับยืนบนฐาน ดอกบัวกลางสระแก้ว – สระขวัญ ภาพพระอาทิตย์ยามรุ่งอรุณ หมายถึงจังหวัดสระแก้วตั้งอยู่ทาง ทิศบูรพาภาพโบราณสถานปราสาทเขาน้อยสีชมพู เป็นโบราณ สถานที่สำคัญในเขตจังหวัดสระแก้ว ภาพพระพุทธรูปปางสรง น้ำสรีระประทับยืนบนดอกบัว เป็นพระพุทธรูปที่จะสร้างเป็นพระ พุทธรูปประจำจังหวัด เพื่อเป็นศูนย์รวมจิตใจ และเป็นนิมิตร หมายแห่งความชุ่มชื้น ร่มเย็น

ตามประกาศดังกล่าว จึงถือว่าภาพนี้มีฐานะเป็นเครื่องหมายราชการ ตามพระราชบัญญัติเครื่องหมายราชการ พุทธศักราช 2482

ปรากฏความตามที่บรรยายในราชกิจจานุเบกษาดังนี้

  1. ด้านหลังสุดเป็นสระน้ำมีดอกบัว
  2. ด้านหลังเป็นภาพพระอาทิตย์ยามรุ่งอรุณ
  3. ตอนกลางเป็นภาพโบราณสถานปราสาทเข้าน้อยสีชมพู
  4. ด้านหน้าเป็นภาพพระพุทธรูปปางสรงน้ำฝน ทรงยืนบนดอกบัว

ความหมาย:

  1. ภาพพระอาทิตย์ยามรุ่งอรุณ หมายถึง การที่จังหวัดสระแก้วตั้งอยู่ทิศบูรพา
  2. ภาพโบราณสถานปราสาทเขาน้อยสีชมพู เป็นโบราณสถานที่สำคัญในเขตจังหวัดสระแก้ว
  3. ภาพพระพุทธรูปปางสรงน้ำฝน ทรงยืนบนดอกบัว เป็นพระพุทธรูปที่สร้างเป็นพระพุทธรูปประจำจังหวัด สูง 2,536 เซนติเมตร (25.36 เมตร) เพื่อเป็นศูนย์รวมจิตใจ และเป็นนิมิตหมายแห่งความชุ่มชื่นร่มเย็น
