Quinty Reanne van der Geest (born January 31st, 2002) is a Dutch singer/songwriter active in the country/pop genre since 2017.

Early life

Quinty van der Geest was born on January 31st 2002 in Leidschendam-Voorburg, Nederland. She grew up with her parents and two younger brothers. Van der Geest attended Da Vinci College (Leiden) of which she graduated in 2018. In the summer of 2018, she moved to Enumclaw, Washington (staat) to experience a year of High School in the United States. Van der Geest attended Enumclaw High School and learned to speak English fluently, as well as the American culture.

After returning from the United states, she started attending MboRijnland, to pursue a degree in marketing and communications.

Career

Van der Geest started singing at the age of 5 and first performed back in 2009 when she was only 7 years old, during a summer vacation in the south of France. She attended theatre school on the weekends, for 3 years until the age of 12, where she got cast the role of Miss Hannigan in their school's rendition of Annie (musical).

Van der Geest started writing her own songs in 2016 at the age of 14, after she got a guitar, signed by Shawn Mendes, in her VIP package during his first world tour. Not much later, in 2017, she released her first single ""Rise up". During her exchange year in the United States she was part of the alto's in Enumclaw High School's concert choir.

In January 2020, she released her second single "let you go" in collaboration with DaXe.
