Beste ZeaForUs, u kunt uw vooroordelen voor uzelf houden en stoppen met uw eeuwige gezaag, ook daarbuiten, over mijn leeftijd. Waarom werd ik zomaar voor stemcoördinator aangezien en direct naar WikiKids verwezen? Dit soort opmerkingen vat ik op als een belediging. —mountainhead / ? 17 jul 2013 11:31 (CEST)
- Kind zijn is helemaal geen belediging althans niet als zodanig bedoeld, beste Wolf Lambert. Ik heb nog een moeder en ben dus nog steeds een kind van iemand. In WikiKids en WikiJunior schrijven overigens ook volwassenen. Als je een gevoel hebt op je tenen getrapt te zijn spijt me dat, maar dat gevoel is van jou. Intentie om te beledigen heb ik zelden of nooit en van Persoonlijke aanvallen en discriminatie hou ik al helemaal niet

Ware Jezuskerk[bewerken | brontekst bewerken]
Beste ZeaForUs, ik ontdekte dat je een twijfelsjabloon hebt geplaatst in een door mij toegevoegde verklarende voetnoot. Dit sjabloon is onterecht en zou verwijderd moeten worden. Omdat ik geen wereldwijd blok aan mijn broek wil - al betwijfel ik of een dergelijk verzoek zou worden toegewezen - wil ik graag weten wat de reden is van de plaatsing van het sjabloon. Betwijfel je de juistheid van het gestelde of begrijp je iets niet?
Om te beginnen staat boven de tien geloofspunten al dat dit de formulering van het kerkgenootschap zelf is. Die tekst kan dus niet aangepast worden. Bovendien is duidelijk dat zij dit zo zien, het is niet het standpunt van Wikipedia. Zij beschouwen dus hun genootschap als gesticht door Jezus en de Heilige Geest, terwijl het in feite mensen zijn geweest. Dit is een theologische verklaring, geen historisch statement. Overigens zal de Ware Jezuskerk niet de term "Zoon van God" voor Jezus gebruiken aangezien zij Jezus en God als dezelfde beschouwen. Dat begrip kan dus zeker niet gebruikt worden.
De vraag die je stelt over de laatste regen verbaast mij, want dat wordt in de noot uitgelegd: "laatste regen" is de naam die mensen vanuit de Pinksterbeweging geven aan het ontstaan van hun beweging in het begin van de twintigste eeuw, dit in onderscheid van de "vroege regen" de uitstorting van de Heilige Geest tijdens het Pinksterfeest. De terminologie is ontleend aan de bijbeltekst Joel 2:23: En jullie, kinderen van Sion, wees blij en barst uit in gejubel om de HEER, jullie God, want hij geeft regen om je te verkwikken, hij laat de regen overvloedig op je neerdalen, vroege regen en late regen, elk op de juiste tijd. ("laatste regen" is een vertaling van het Engelse "last rain", terwijl in Nederland gekozen wordt voor "spade regen") Ik wil best een poging wagen dit nog iets duidelijker op te schrijven, maar dat gaat makkelijker wanneer ik weet waar je bezwaren liggen. - Het twijfelsjabloon komt inderdaad meer uit onbegrip over sektes in het algemeen, zeker als ze zich "waar" noemen. Je kent vast de uitspraak "Wat is waarheid?". Een van de meest fundamentele vragen in zowel filosofie als religie. Volgens de meeste christenen, zoals je zegt waagt deze "ware kerk" dat te bestrijden op grond van een fragment cq. de uitleg ervan. Er staat namelijk ook in Johannes geschreven "dat God zijn eniggeboren zoon heeft gegeven" voor velen het bewijs dat deze sekte ongelijk heeft en dus niet "waar". Vandaar dat mijns inziens 'twijfel' op zijn minst terecht is. Wees niet bang voor blokkade. Dat zal jou nooit (zeg nooit nooit, maar nu doe ik het lekker toch) overkomen. Als het sjabloon je stoort: VJV&GJG en haal het maar weg. Mijn zegen heb je als je zo zeker bent van het feit dat jouw kerk de ware is. Dat geldt waarschijnlijk voor geen kerk. - Beste ZeaForUs, ik vermoedde al dat het sjabloon geplaatst was wegens redenen die buiten het artikel liggen. Het sjabloon stoort mij inderdaad, vooral omdat het geplaatst is in tekst die ik zelf had toegevoegd in antwoord op een eerdere vraag van je en niet bij de opvattingen van de kerk zelf, zoals je eigenlijk bedoelde. Dat vond ik niet aardig - en het ziet er opmaaktechnisch ook niet uit. Je vriendelijke opmerking over de kans dat ik geblokkeerd word, hoop ik waar te kunnen blijven maken. Ik haal het sjabloon weg en we zetten er een punt achter. Voor de goede orde: ik ben geen aanhanger van dit zich Ware Jezuskerk noemende gezelschap en vind het een tamelijk agressieve club die op zoveel mogelijk Wikipedia's zijn eigen boodschap wil verspreiden (ervaring uit de zea(!)-wiki). Je bent voor mij een van de specialisten als het om religiezaken gaat en fijn dat je het zo persoonlijk aankaart en overlegt. Ooit kreeg ik een vraag van iemand uit een andere 'agressieve gemeenschap' en zonder je naam expliciet te noemen dacht ik aan jou. Ik kon en wilde hem niet genoeg helpen. Je weet vast wie ik bedoel. Already 565,000 pairs of coordinates are now available on WikiData. Compare this to 870,000 coordinates on English Wikipedia or 1,500,000 items with d:Property:P17 "country", likely to have coordinates. Have a look at them on a map.

WLM in Italy[bewerken | brontekst bewerken]
Hoi Klaas, dit deel maar even uit Vera haar OP getild. Italië is momenteel even een geval apart. In Italië is een hele rare wet dat er voor gebruik van beeldmateriaal van monumenten mogelijk betaald moet gaan worden aan de overheid. Deels is dat de centrale overheid, deels zijn dat gemeentes en zo. Dit heeft op zich niets met copyright te maken, maar is andere wetgeving. Als niet-italiaan kan je daar waarschijnlijk zelfs mee wegkomen, zeker als je niet in Italië upload. Door Wiki Loves Monuments is er vorig jaar beweging gekomen in de wetgeving en is er voor de door de centrale overheid beheerde monumenten een uitzondering gekomen. Details daarover zijn te lezen op commons:Commons:Wiki Loves Monuments 2012 in Italy/MiBAC. En ja, het Italiaanse chapter is daarmee druk bezig, en ik ben er best wel trots op dat WLM daarin al dingen heeft losgemaakt. Akoopal overleg 26 aug 2013 16:13 (CEST)

- Dat is heel goed nieuws! Je wil niet weten hoeveel moeite ik, helaas tevergeefd, ik heb moeten doen om met een foto mee te doen. Persoonlijk komen praten, meestal een gouden tip hier, hielp bij de eigenaar niet. De gemeente vond het schitterend. Zij waren het die me naar hen, een oudere heer, vriendelijk, maar zeer kortzichtig, verwees. Dit terwijl ze (hij en zijn organisatie) er alleen voordeel - toerisme! - aan zouden hebben. Ik ga het nu denk ik - nog niet zeker want het is een heel gedoe - ergens anders mee proberen. Interessant is dat het monument in een andere gemeente staat met meer hotels, maar toch op zich minder toeristisch. Hartelijk dank voor dit zeer positieve bericht. - Graag gedaan. Omdat ik toch aan de wieg sta van Wiki Loves Monuments is dit een overwinning waar ik toch wel trots op ben. - Geldt voor alle landen waar ze van panoramavrijheid niets snappen. Ik heb begrepen dat Wikimedia België inmiddels (bijna) in oprichting is? Er is geen enkele reden en/of noodzaak de weergave van de bronvermeldingen te standaardiseren. Ben je bekend met WP:BTNI? En het veranderen van een lijst van singles in een discografie is puur oppoetsen zonder enig inhoudelijk nut. Ik heb jouw wijzigingen op Seán Óg dan ook teruggedraaid. - Het is bij meerderheid aanvaard dat het gebruikt mag worden. Niet dat het gebruikt moet worden. Dat is een belangrijk verschil. Daarbij komt een appendix helemaal onderaan te bengelen, wat bij mijn monitor een groot wit vlak oplevert tussen tekst, infobox en de bronvermelding. {{References}} daarentegen sluit gewoon aan bij de tekst. - 30 percent of all items are categorized in 6 large groups (main type (GND) (P107)). Most are items about geographic features (1.7 million items), some of these already have coordinates (0.5 million). Items about persons are fairly frequent too (1.3 million), many already with gender (0.9 million), a few with DOB (0.05 million) or DOD (0.04 million). Other groups include: creative works (305,000), terms, organizations, and events.
- The first 2 Wikidata oversighters are elected, Ajraddatz and Rschen7754. Please contact the email at the above page, and do not post requests onwiki. Two more candidates are running: Stryn and Sven Manguard.
- Neat new gadget to semi-automatically import labels, aliases and descriptions based on Wikipedia article introductions
