- This is aview from south to north during construction. The western dam of the two parallel dams in the north is now called Plaatvliet; the squared part in the southern section of this picture is the basis of the present housing area Bergse Plaat. - I figured as much. But in that case, this is technically not a part of the Markiezaatskade, and thus probably belongs on the page about the Bergse Plaat so as to avoid confusion. - You are right. I moved the photo to Bergse Plaat. Construction was nearly at same moment, sand was used from dredging the Bathse Spuikanaal. HJVerhagen (overleg) 25 feb 2024 19:30 (CET)
