Dear mr Bochis, After 25 years of working at Groot Schuylenburg, Apeldoorn, the Netherlands, I recently retired because of my health. So about 20 years I enjoyed the sculptures of you and your colleagues. I remember your first (?) exhibition in Apeldoorn, with the graphics with walls in them, limiting the view of the spectator. There are two paintings at the walls of former Groot Schuylenburg (now called 's Heeren Loo) with that wall: one is in the open, I am afraid it is not in a very good condition, it is bleached by the sun. It has an opening in the wall. The other one is inside, it is in a far better condition, with a bike put against the wall (a painted bike...). I understood that copyright forbids copying works of art that are not in public space. For that reason we dared making photographs of the sculptures, not of the painting inside.

The reasons I write to you are the following:

1. To let you know that you are not forgotten after these 20 years;
2. We saw your paintings at the website. Did you paint during your whole carreer, or did that start later?
3. Could we perhaps get consent from you to show some painting or other work on wikipedia?

Hello Mr.Koos de Geest, thank you for your beautiful e-mail. Also I remember with big pleasure the years when work and colaborate with people from Groot-Schuylenburg. About copyright not make any problem, is possible making photographs about what you like because I think all time for one artist is important not copyright is important people in all word know about his works. I start painting after finish university, but in some time I make all time sculpture and also engraving. Is possible have detailes about my CV to adress www.sintec.ro/bochis but is not complet, is only about aprox 40% from my works because never I not make work with my CV [ I know maybe is stupid but all time I think is more important for one artist stay is studio and work not stay home and right CV...HI,HI..]. In last 14 years I am director to Florean Museum www.cmc.ro . If you visit this site, all the projects from this site is my projects... To section SCULPTURE you have pictures with my monumental sculptures make in this 14 years.In the last 2 years have big problem to museum for crisis reason but in this moment have a litle return to normal time.In this moment the hall of Baia Mare talking with Florean Museum to make togheter one big contemporary art museum of Baia Mare.After 14 year work to Florean museum in collection of Florean Museum I ghatered more that 20.000 pieces of art. • Ik stel voor dat we ipv de muurschilderingen van GS een paar gewone schilderijen nemen.
• De beelden in Baia Mara zijn in een beeldentuin, ik vermoed geen publieke ruimte. En dan heb je ook te doen met het copyright van de fotograaf.
• Erik heb jij er kijk op om alvast een of twee schilderijen uit te zoeken? Ik ben benieuwd of onderstaande genoeg is voor OTRS.

Dag Koos, ik weet te weinig van OTRS om te weten of dit voldoende is. Maar ik vrees van niet. Ik heb dit voorjaar een boel gedoe gehad met twee foto's die iemand had gemaakt van een Pestbosje en een Geriefbosje. Een man had daarvan mooie foto's op zijn web site staan en was vereerd toen ik hem vroeg of ik ze voor WP mocht plaatsen. Was geen enkel probleem dus. Ik heb toen zijn mail met die toestemming daarin doorgemaild aan het speciale mailadres dat daarvoor is. Gevolg: Een maand later werden de plaatjes verwijderd, omdat de mail niet voldeed aan alle eisen. Ik heb nog heel wat moeite gedaan om dat te verhelpen en uiteindelijk de fotograaf gevraagd om zelf de plaatjes te uploaden omdat je dan geen gedoe krijgt, maar dat heeft hij tot nog toe niet gedaan. Gevolg: Geen plaatjes meer. :-((

Je zult je zelf dus even goed in deze materie moeten verdiepen vrees ik.

De beelden in de beeldentuin staan wel op de Roemeense WP (HIER) maar niet op Commons. Ze mogen dus niet op de NL WP gebruikt worden.

Verder weet ik niet welke schilderijen ik zou kunnen uitzoeken. Waar zijn ze nu te bekijken?

Ik ben niet echt een schilderijenkenner of -liefhebber, dus ik kan je er niet over adviseren. Ik zou zeggen: Zoek eerst uit of er wat te regelen valt qua auteursrechten en zet er dan maar wat op dat je aanspreekt. Succes! Erik Wannee (overleg) 26 jul 2011 21:46 (CEST)

Doe ik. De beelden in Roemenië zijn niet anders dan hier, maar dat fotootje is lang zo mooi niet. ;-)
